Personal Protection Class
The Personal Protection class is designed primarly for self-defense on the street. It's purpose is to teach you how to survive a street altercation. This class does not teach you how to duke it out with someone, in this class you learn how to finish the altercation, or provide a defense so you can get away.
This class teaches Self-defense, the techniques are defenses from grabs, strikes, throws, guns, knifes and clubs. Drills are also taught to help prepare the participant to react to altercations.
The participant will also be taught shooting tactics, knife fighting, defensive driving, counter surveillance and much more. And yes you will learn how to use a firearm for those who desire to. In fact at times guest instructors will teach the class, current and former military and law enforcement personell.
This class is the culmination of years of training and experience, it is the combination of Kapap, Krav Maga, Combat Jiu-jitsu, Closed Quarter Combat and Specialized Training. There are no fancy sweeps or throws in this class, and definitly no tournament training in this class!
If you are concerned about the safety of yourself and your family, this is the course for you.

Instructor and Student Do Bodyguard Detail in Africa
Wichita, 10-19-08 - This class is taking on a flavor all it's own. Recently John and one of the other students who has spent much time training in this class were asked to provide a bodyguard detail to Africa for a client. Everything that is taught in this class was put to use and applied to this security detail. Much was learned from this trip and now the class curriculum will be refined and all of those principles taught in the class.
No one would have beleived that when this class started, in one year, it would have the opportunity to prove itself, and the training passed with flying colors. Needless to say we are proud of the progress that was made and we look forward to more opportunities like this one. In fact we have been asked to help develop such a program as this one, in Africa. We are indeed pleased!!
