Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What is the difference between Jiu-jitsu, Judo, Karate, Aikido, or any other martial art?
Answer: Good question, Tae Kwon Do and Karate differ from Jiu-jitsu in that they concentrate on staying standing and striking your opponent. Aikido concentrates on more joint locks and throws, Judo concentrates on throws and some ground work. Today many of the styles of martial arts address the ground fighting issue, but none of them concentrate on it as much as Jiu-jitsu.
